UPDATE 3: Moscow Exchange restarts stock trading, indices slightly rise

MOSCOW, Jan 16 (PRIME) -- The Moscow Exchange resumed the trading session at 3:20 p.m. Moscow time on Monday after a suspension and the indices rose slightly, according to a statement released by the bourse.

The MICEX index grew 0.1% to 2,198 and the RTS rose 0.2% to 1,161.

The trading session was suspended on 2:34 p.m. due to incorrect operations of the software forming charters of bids at one of the repo auction modes which could lead to bid registration errors in other trading regimes as well, it said.
